During our product demonstrations of Epicenter, we are often asked the following questions:

 

Who has access to Epicenter?
The security administrator can grant access to as many users as needed. At the school level, it is recommended that there be at least one primary school user and a backup user. Each user creates his or her individual username and password.
How do I access Epicenter?
Epicenter is web-based. Authorized users can access the system anywhere, anytime as long as there is internet access.
Who enters the data?
Our company provides initial data entry services to our clients. Clients also have the option to enter the data.  After the initial data is entered, it is the client’s responsibility to update the information, whether they enter in the data or have the school, EMO/CMO, or the board enter the information.
Is there a limit on file storage?
No, we offer unlimited file storage.
How long is my data stored?
Data is stored on the system for as long as the client requests. Typically, it is recommended that each client setup a retention plan for their data.
Can I access Epicenter when I am not in the office?
Yes, Epicenter can be accessed  in your office, on the road, or at home. You have access to your information anywhere, anytime, from your PC, laptop or mobile device – anywhere internet access is available.
Is my data backed up and do I own the data?
Yes, we back-up changed files and data nightly and complete a full-file back-ups each weekend. In addition, we do monthly and quarterly back-ups that are retained for one year. Back-up content is stored off-site in a secure vault. Organizations that pays the per school fee owns the data.
How long does it take to implement and launch Epicenter?
The entire process can take as little as four weeks, depending on how quickly information can be gathered and entered, the level of customization applied to Epicenter, and the amount of training for  users.  To further guide users in the setup and implementation process, a timeline outlining the steps in the process, as well as “how-to” guides are available. 
What kind of user training is available?
Our company provides onsite training after setup is complete. For users who miss the initial onsite training, we also provide online training and access to  training videos.
What does my investment cover?
The annual per school investment, includes the license to use the most current version of the program, hosting, maintenance, and a variety of services including daily coaching, IT help desk and compliance assurance services. Setup, implementation and onsite training is included in the fee unless your organization has more than five schools. Do I need to purchase equipment or hire additional IT staff?
The only equipment needed is a device that can connect to the internet and a scanner for converting hard-copy documents to electronic files. There is no need to hire additional IT staff as we provide IT help desk services for Epicenter.
